Furthermore, Upper Dolpa Trek is ideal for adventure trek lovers seeking an overwhelming view of nature. Upper Dolpa Trek is a rather challenging trek so, you need to be physically fit and mentally strong to complete this journey. 

Upper Dolpo Trek is of 24 days which commences with a flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and then to Juphal. Along the flight, you will be welcomed by the charming panoramic view of several mountain ranges,  Langtang, Manaslu, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and others.

Thenceforth, we go on a sequence of treks to reach your first viewpoint, Kang La Pass. Treks required to reach Kang La Pass are, Juphal to Dunai, Dunai to Chhepka, Chhepka to Chunuwar, Chunuwar to Phoksundo Lake, Phoksuno Lake to Forest Camp, Forest Camp to Salla Ghari then to Base Camp, and lastly, Base Camp to Kang La Pass.

On our journey to Kang La Pass, we come across plentiful places with beautiful sites. Firstly, Phoksundo Lake, a deep blue colored Lake that attracts tourists with its alluring view. Due to the reflection of snow-capped mountains seen on Phoksundo Lake, it looks like a mirror world. 

Likewise, Phoksundo Lake is a perfect spot to immerse yourself in nature’s tranquility, helping you rejuvenate your energy. 

Thereafter a series of harsh treks through rocky trails, sharp ascents, and gradual walks with the locals we finally reach our first viewpoint, Kang La Pass. 

Congratulations on making it through such a difficult trek to reach Kang La. Here on Kang La Pass, you will enjoy incredible vistas of pristine mountain ranges, including Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. The breathtaking view of Kang La Pass makes it seem like it’s a place touched by heaven itself. 

Finally, after a gratifying glimpse of Kang La, we immediately continue to our next destination target, Shey Gompa. Shey Gompa is one of the major monasteries in the Dolpo region, dwelling upon the base of Crystal Mountain. 

Here at Shey Gompa, we observe the tradition and culture of the Chaiba Community followed by stunning views of mountain ranges and valleys. Shey Gompa looks as dramatic as it sounds. Afterward, we led our way to Dho Tarap passing Jeng La Pass. To reach Dho Tarap we trek from Shey Gompa to Namgung, Namgung to Saldang, Saldang to Sibu, and lastly Sibu to Dho Tarap passing Jeng La pass.

After numerous hikes followed by an enticing natural view, we reach Dho Tarap. Before reaching Dho Tarap we come across Jeng La Pass, A high pass with euphoric panoramic views of mountain ranges. 

Dho Tarap is a village inhabited by Tibetian people. Here we get a brief perception of their traditional culture and unique way of life style. Furthermore, this village offers a divine view of landscapes and Himalayan peaks. 

Thereafter, we retrace our way back from Dho Tarap to Serkam, Serkam to Shahur Tara, Shahur Tara to Dunai, Dunai to Juphal, and finally Juphal to Nepalgunj taking a majestic view. 

After reaching Nepalgunj fly back to Kathmandu enjoying scenic views. This will be the culmination of our journey.
