Today we will spend the day visiting the top attractions of the Thimphu region. Some must-visit places in Thimphu are Tashichho Dzong, Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten, Folk Heritage Museum, Changangkha Lhakhang, and the Weekend Market.

We will also visit the Craft Bazaar which showcases the tapestry of the cultural richness of Bhutan. We’ll spend this day in the heart of Bhutan, taking in the traditions and lifestyles of the local inhabitants.

You can also visit different shops to shop for souvenirs before heading back to Paro for the night.

Following a delicious meal in Paro, we’ll start our hike to the Tiger’s Nest also known as Taktsang Monastery. Tiger’s Nest is a revered place of great cultural and religious importance.

We’ll hike along a picturesque trail with a breathtaking vista of verdant valleys, waterfalls, and the beautiful Paro Valley. Continuing, we finally reach the Tiger’s Nest.

Tiger’s Nest Monastery located on the side of a rocky cliff is the pinnacle of this tour. Constructed in the 17th century, Guru Rinpoche is believed to have come here on the tigress’s back to meditate.

Thereafter, we’ll hike back down and visit some other attractions of Paro as well. Paro Rinpung Dzong, National Museum of Bhutan, Drukgyel Dzong, and Kyichu Lhakhang are some places you can visit.
