The Mount Makalu Expedition takes you to the world’s 5th highest peak in the world which is 8463 meters above sea level. This stunning mountain dwells on the Mhalungar Himal 19 km of Mount Everest.

Mount Makalu Expedition is a 46-day long journey, our journey embarks with a delightful flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar taking in the mystical panoramic view of several Himalayan peaks including Mount Everest and Mount Makalu.
Thereafter, we navigate to the gateway of our journey, Makalu Base Camp through the following treks, Tumlingtar to Num, Num to Sheduwa, Sheduwa to Tashi Gaun, Tashi Gaun to Khongma, Khongma to Doobato, Dobato to Yangle Kharka, Yangle Kharka to Langmale Kharka, and eventually Langmale Kharka to Makalu Base Camp.
On our beautiful expedition to Makalu Base Camp, we come across several gorgeous places. First, we arrive at a town, the Num village. Num village is located at the edge of riffs and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the bordering village and mountain peaks.
After that, we take a stroll through another gorgeous village, Seduwa. Seduwa village comes right after Num Village. Seduwa village has a spectacular view of Makalu Massif.
Finally, we arrive in Tashi Gaon, another settlement with a breathtaking view of the Makalu massif and its surrounding peaks. All of these communities are extremely lovely and home to distinct cultures and crafts. We get to experience each village’s traditional culture and lifestyle.
After experiencing the homey warmth of villages we arrive at Shipton La Pass and Keke La Pass, an ocular image of gorgeous. Thereafter two or three hikes we finally reach Makalu Base Camp.
Makalu Base Camp will be an idyllic vista with picturesque glaciers and lakes. Makalu Base Camp offers a breathtaking, unimpeded view of many mountain ranges, including Mt. Everest (8,848.86m), Chamlang (7,319m), Lhotse (8,516m), Baruntse (7,129m), and others.
Here we reassess all the essential gears and prepare ourselves for our upcoming challenge, The summit of Mount Makalu.
The expedition to the summit of Mount Makalu consists of establishing a Base Camp, Establishing Advanced Camps, Climbing the mountain, and Summit Push. So, in short, it is going to be a burdensome journey carrying a lifetime experience.
Furthermore, It is going to take about 20 days to climb and return to Makalu Base Camp. After admiring the breathtaking beauty of the summit of Mount Makalu B, we return to Tumlingtar by the following treks: Makalu Base Camp to Yangle Kharka, Yangle Kharka to Dobate, Dobate to Khongma Danda, Khongma Danda to Mumbak, and Mumbak to Tumlingtar.
After reaching Tumlingtar, we fly back to Kathmandu, taking in the stunning scenery of mountains and valleys. This will mark the conclusion of our fantastic adventure to the summit of Mount Makalu.
