The delightful journey to the summit of Mount Everest is about 58-day-long journey that initiates with a gorgeous flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, this flight is the epitome of visual perfection. Here you get a panoramic view of lofty mountain ranges. 

Thenceforth, we head on to Everest Base Camp which will be the inception point of our climbing journey. To reach Everest Base Camp we go on the following treks; Lukla to Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar to Khumjung, Khumjung to Tengboche Monastery, Tengboche Monastery to Dingboche, Dingboche to Lobuche, and ultimately Lobuche to Everest Base Camp. 

Our adventure begins at Namche Bazaar, a gateway to Everest Base camp, the Sherpa capital. Here you may see the Sherpa people’s distinct traditions, rituals, crafts, and way of life.

During our route to Everest Base Camp, we come across an old monastery noted for its breathtaking vistas of mountain ranges. Following that, we arrive at Dingboche, a well-known location from where enjoy the astonishing view of Kalapatthar and the Khumbu Glacier.

Finally, before reaching Everest Base Camp, we stop at Kalapatthar, a viewpoint with majestic panoramic views of numerous Himalayan mountains, including Nuptse, Changtse, and Everest. Kalapathhar offers one of the best views in our entire journey. 

Upon arrival at Everest Base Camp, we prepare and re-check all the gears essential for your journey. Even a puja ( holy ceremony) is held before your expedition to make your journey fruitful and successful. 

It will take about 38 days to reach the top of Mount Everest and to come back to base camp. We will be passing through three camps, at 5900 meters, 6400 meters, and 7100 meters above sea level. Also, we will come across Lhotse Face, Yellow Band, Geneva Spur, and South Col along the way. 

Subsequently, we retrace our way back to Lukla, following the same way that we used to get to Everest Base Camp. You will relive all those wonderful experiences once again. Afterward, upon reaching Lukla, we take a scenic flight to Kathmandu.

Furthermore, the optimum season to go on a Mount Everest Expedition is on Spring and Autumn. The bright sky and normal temperatures of 15ºC to 25ºC will improve your enjoyment. 

Additionally, to complete this journey, you need to get these three major permits, an Everest climbing permit, a Sagarmatha National Park entry permit, and a TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card. It is crucial to have all these necessary permits and paperwork before starting on the expedition to Mount Everest.
