Manaslu Circuit Trek is a beautiful trek that takes you through dense forests, strong rapid waterfalls, and gorgeous landscapes. Also, you get to witness the world’s eighth-highest mountain in the world Mount Manaslu (8156 meters). Also, you get to observe the unique customs and culture of Hindu and Busshits people. 

Moreover, the Manaslu Circuit Trek is ideal for novice trekkers looking for excitement and magnificent mountain vistas similar to those seen on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek or Everest Base Camp Trek.  

However, Manaslue Circuit Trek is a restricted area for tourists, only a limited number of trekkers are allowed each year. Before the early 90’s Manaslu Circuit Trek was completely restricted. 

The Manaslu Circuit Trek offers breathtaking views of landscapes, waterfalls, snowy mountains, and much more on relatively easy terrain. Moving on, Our beautiful Manaslu Circuit Trek begins with a long drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola passing through Arughat. 

This drive is considered one of the best drives for any trek due to its captivating scenery following you along the route. Here, you get to see the beautiful Trishuli River partnered with several dense forests and mesmerizing landscapes.  

Also, a glimpse of Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang, and Ganesh Himal is visible on your bus ride. Major Checkpoints of your journey would be Manaslu Base Camp and Larkya La Pass. However, Manaslu Base Camp is an optional destination stop but it is highly recommended for you to visit Manaslu Base Camp.

Ok then, after a long beautiful drive, we now proceed toward our first major viewpoint, Manaslu Base Camp. To reach Manaslu Base Camp we will be going on a series of treks, Soti Khola to Machha Khola, Machha Khola to Doban, Doban to Philim, Philim to Deng, Deng to Ghap, Ghap to Namrung, Namrung to Lho, Lho to Samagaun, and finally Samagaun to Manaslu Base Camp. 

You can take a rest day at Samagaun rather than trekking to Manaslu Base Camp, but it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience so it is recommended you go trek to Manaslu Base Camp that day. 

On our long journey to Manaslu Base Camp, we come across several captivating views. Firstly, you will come across Magnificient Tharo Khola and Machha Khola which you will pass through a suspension bridge. Afterward, we take in the divine view of green woodland filled with rhododendrons, oaks, and bamboo trees. 

Thenceforth, we stroll upon a beautiful glacier which originated by Lindand Glacier. Thereafter, we reach Lihi Village, Lihi Villages’s stunning stupas and Chortens are its major attractions. 

While in Lihi Village we get to see the majestic sighting of Simnang Himal. Also, Along the way we come across several water streams, Tharo Khola, Maccha Khola, and Deng Khola. 

Furthermore,  several villages will be encountered along the way, Lihi village, Samaguan, Jagat, and Khursani village. Each village has its unique alluring atmosphere and different customs and culture. 

Finally, we reached Manaslu Base Camp, also, Manaslu means Mountain of the Spirit in Sanskrit. Here at Manaslu Base Camp, you get an extraordinary panoramic view of several mountain ranges one being Mount Manaslu.

More than 10 peaks could be visible from this viewpoint. The unreal display of mountain ranges will leave you in awe. Also, Birendra Lake and Pungyen Monastery could be spotted on your way which has its own charm. 

After witnessing the enticing view of Manaslu Base Camp we proceed towards the next most beautiful viewpoint of this trek, Larkya La Pass, the good thing is that Larkya La Pass is only two treks away from Manaslu Base Camp. 

So brace yourself to be again overwhelmed by the unreal beauty of nature. Now, we trek from Samdo to Dharamsala and Bhimtang by crossing Larkya La Pass. Before La Pass, You will be greeted by the immaculate view of Larke River, the unmatched architecture of Mani walls, and the alluring sight of Larkya Glacier. 

Larkya La Pass, the highest altitude point of our entire journey 5100 meters. Larkya La Pass may have a strenuous steep uphill trail making it very adventurous. In every step of your climb to Larkya La Pass, you will stunned by its glorious view which will keep you motivated. 

Finally, upon reaching Larkya La Pass, you will be rewarded with the most encompassing panoramic view of towering mountain ranges including Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kang Guru, and the great Annapurna II. The view from Lakya La Pass is the epitome of delightful natural beauty. 

Also, four frozen lakes could be spotted from Larkya La Pass making this viewpoint even more beautiful. View from Larkya La Pass monumentally will be one of the best moments of your life. 

Hereafter, after experiencing the grandeur of Larkya La Pass we go on a constant descent from Bhimtang to Gho, Gho to Dharapani then on to Besisahar. Finally from Besisahar, we drive back to Kathmandu re-enjoying the scenic view of Trishuli River partnered with several dense forests and mesmerizing landscapes.
