After experiencing the mesmerizing mountain view, we explore several Buddhist monuments including Shanti Stupa, enjoying the panoramic lofty view of the Annapurna range. Pokhara also offers a tranquil place to relax, Fewa Lake.

Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival at Kathmandu

After you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport of Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by your tour agent and then taken to your chosen hotel.

As you move towards your hotel from the airport, you can experience the vibrant streets of Kathmandu City. As you get to your hotel, you can wear off the exhaustion from the flight and visit the streets of Thamel also known as the tourist hub later in the evening.

Day 2:

Exploring Kathmandu

Today after a filling breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be taken to visit the major attractions of the city such as Pashupatinath, Swyambhunath, Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, etc which are all listed in World Heritage Site.

You can visit different shops and buy anything you like.

Day 3:

Drive/Fly to Pokhara

From this day onwards, your tour to Pokhara begins. There are two ways to get to Pokhara, one is a 7-hour scenic bus ride with picturesque views of the landscapes, rivers, and hills along the way.

The other is a 25-minute flight with magnificent views from the sky.

After reaching Pokhara, you’ll be taken to visit certain attraction points of Pokhara including the Davis fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Phewa Lake, and Barahi Temple.

Day 4:

Early visit to Sarangkot Hill and full-day sightseeing

Be ready, the day will be filled with travels to famous locations of Pokhara. We’ll start off early with a sunrise view at Sarangkot Hill. Then, after having a hearty meal we’ll visit Shanti Stupa also known as World Peace Pagoda, a location on top of the Anadu Hill offering a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara City, and the Fewa Lake.

Then, you’ll visit the International Mountain Museum built under the aegis of the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA. it is a museum dedicated to mountains, mountaineering, and all mountaineers.

Day 5:

Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan

After an exciting day visiting the infamous locations of Pokhara, we’ll say goodbye to the city and move on to our next destination of the tour, Chitwan. We’ll take an early bus/private vehicle ride to Chitwan which will last around 5-6 hours.

Making stops at teahouses along the way, taking in the fascinating views of various settlements, farmlands, hills, and peaks far away, eventually reaching Chitwan.

After arriving at Chitwan, you’ll be taken on a walk through the local Tharu Village. Take this opportunity to experience the rich Tharu culture and traditions. Also, a visit to the Tharu Cultural Museum and Research Center and Sauraha Tharu Culture House is a must!

Day 6:

Full-day Jungle safari in Chitwan National Park

On your second day at Chitwan, you will visit the Chitwan National Park where you can take part in Elephant Safari, Elephant Bathing, Canoeing, jeep safaris, and Jungle walk.

The natural beauty of the park and the wildlife you’ll see here including the rare one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, snakes, four-horned antelope, Giant hornbill, storks, and more will truly be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The unique flora and fauna, beautiful birds, a bit of sloth bears, and elephants, makes the jungle safari here hands-down the best experience.

After the exhilarating jungle safari, local Tharu people will welcome you with famous stick dances and the crazy peacock dance.

Day 7:

Drive/Fly back to Kathmandu

With this, your Pokhara and Chitwan tour comes to an end with lots of unforgettable memories. On day 7, after a filling breakfast, you’ll get to Kathmandu via a 5-hour bus ride with beautiful scenery outside.

Or you can also choose to take a swift flight back. After arriving in Kathmandu, you’re free to visit Thamel and have a good time there shopping for souvenirs.

Day 8:

Departure

Sadly, at last, the time to say goodbye is here. Your agent will drop you off at the international airport for your smooth flight back. You’ll leave Nepal today with amazing memories of bustling Pokhara and scenic green Chitwan.
