Lobuche Peak Climbing 6119m

Your agent will receive you at the airport when you arrive in Kathmandu. Following that, you will be taken to your hotel, where they will give you an overview of your journey. Following that, you can choose to rest for the day or tour the city during your free time.

On this day you will prepare for your long journey to Lobuche Peak. You will also have a briefing on the itinerary of the Lobuche Peak. Also, you will be assigned with a guide. Additionally, you will also pack up all the essential gear required for climbing as suggested by the guide.

After you arrive in Kathmandu, we will begin our tour with a mesmerizing flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which will take around 35-40 minutes. You’ll get spectacular views of the Himalayas, hills, and valleys throughout your flight.

After landing, we will pick a corner of a restaurant in Lukla and begin our hike shortly. We’ll cross the Dudh Koshi River and walk to Phakding.

Our second day will begin with an early journey to Namche Bazaar, passing five suspension bridges, including the world’s 123rd-highest bridge. We’ll walk for 3-4 hours through dense woods teeming with wildlife. You’ll also catch your first view of Mt Everest somewhere on the trail.

We will get our permits and proceed to Namche Bazaar, the capital town of Sherpas offering fantastic hospitality and ambiance.

Namche swells at the height of 3440 meters above sea level, so we took an acclimatization day to adjust to the high heights and thinner air.

Namche Bazaar is a vibrant town that serves as the entry point to Mount Everest. Today, you may either rest and prepare for tomorrow, or after breakfast, you will be taken to visit the area and learn about the people and culture. You may also ascend to the Everest View Hotel, which offers close-up views of peaks like as Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and others.

Following a full rest day, we will ascend to Tengboche. We will hike via Sanasa and Phunki Thanka before arriving at Tengboche in two hours. The path to Tengboche will be lined with lovely rhododendrons, as well as pine and fir woods.

After a refreshing morning prayer at Tengboche monastery, we lead our way towards Dingboche. The trail of Dingboche will be dotted with a lush of rhododendrons and conifer trees accompanied by a majestic view of the Himalayas.

Consequently, enjoying mesmerizing scenery we descend to the Imja Khola River which we pass through via a suspension bridge. After crossing the bridge, several Monastery of Pangboche Village will be visible making your journey even more fruitful.

On the eighth day, we will take a rest day at Dingboche to replenish our strength. Also, we will be exploring Nagarjun Peak today. The trek is led by rough terrain including steep hills and boulders.

Moreover, Nagarjun Peak is referred to as one of the major tourist attractions in Sherpa Valley due to its enticing view of imposing Himalayan ranges and steep valleys. After exploring Nagarjun Peak we rest at a tea shop and stay overnight.

Today will be a bit challenging trek as you’ll be moving through a steep rough rocky paths to get to Duglha and then Chuki Lahara.

We will then hike through the foothills of the Khumbu Glacier, Duglha, and the memorial place for climbers ultimately reaching Lobuche. However, the strenuous path will be equally rewarding as great views of Tawache, Cholaste, and other high peaks will keep you motivated throughout the journey.

Explore EBC, and trek down to Goreskshep
After a hefty breakfast, we’ll get on our most demanding and longest trek so far following the Khumbu Glacier and terminal moraines. Eventually, we will reach Gorakshep walking alongside stunning vistas of snow-peaked lofty mountains.

Upon reaching Gorakshep, we’ll have lunch there and hike towards Everest Base Camp. the walk to EBC will be through tough rocky terrains and a tad bit difficult. Eventually, we will reach our destination of the day, the EBC.

We will click amazing pictures, and enjoy the views of towering mountains like Khumbuste, Pumori, and Nuptse keeping Mt. Everest in the background. And soon we’ll start retracing our steps back to Gorakhshep for the night.

Finally, on day 11, we’ll get to Lobuche Base Camp, the closest point from the Lobuche Peak.

But, we’ll first hike to Kala Patthar to experience the sunrise over the high peak of Nepal. We will be seeing enchanting views of mountain ranges in the Everest Region like Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Changtse. The scenery there is absolutely stunning!

Then, we’ll start heading toward Lochuche Base Camp on a steep and rough track. The path will be hard but worry not, your guide will instruct you through it all. On the way to the camp, you witness a high glacier made from Lobuche Peak with bright mountain views above it.

After you reach the base camp, you’ll set up a tent for the night.

Today we will be even closer to the major destination of the journey, Lobhuche Peak. We will be trekking for about 4 hours on a steep, rocky, and rough trail to get to the Lobuche High Camp, at 5300m.

The trek upwards is very draining, so make sure to rest well today and recharge yourself for the important day tomorrow.

Also, later on, you’ll be given a class/training on climbing, gear usage, tips, and tricks for tomorrow.

The much-anticipated day you have been waiting for is finally here, climbing Lobuche Peak! We will set out today with a rush of excitement and nervous energy like never before, on the southern ridge via steep and icy tracks.

The hike up be grueling as we’ll walk on deep snowy paths. However, there will be ropes, and crampons along the way to guide you to the summit. Also, your guide will be assisting you through every move.

Now, after climbing for long hours, you finally reach the summit point of Lobuche Peak!

You’ll be overwhelmed by the breathtaking scenery before you as you take in the triumph of your ascent. After experiencing the pinnacle of your journey at the Lobuche summit, you’ll make your way down to the high camp of this peak and then to Phiriche.

Following the exhilarating day yesterday, we’ll start returning starting with a trek to Namche. Following a downhill trail passing Tengboche, alongside the Dudh Koshi River and lush forest.

The trek will be long but surrounded by impressive sceneries. Continuing on the trail, we will ultimately get to Namche Bazaar. After reaching the town, we can spend a pleasant evening reminiscing about our journey.

Day 15 marks the last trek of your journey. After a filling breakfast at Namche Bazaar, we’ll set off to Lukla. We’ll pass by the same villages as before including, Jorsalle, Manjo, Benkar, and Phakding.

Allowing us to admire the magnificent views of trails once again.

Sadly, the last day of the Lobuche Peak Climbing Trek is here. With a scenic flight back to Kathamndu your journey comes to an end.
Today, after a delicious breakfast in Lukla, we’ll catch a 30-minute flight back to Kathmandu while looking down on scenic hills and mountains.

Then, after reaching Kathmandu, you’ll be taken to your hotel by your crew where you can relax and reminisce on your journey so far.
